Jaime González Palencia - Contemporary artist
Working and exhibiting my art between countries at the moment.
I was born in Palma de Mallorca in 1997, raised in a small town in the Tramuntana mountains. From a very young age he showed an enthusiasm for the fine arts, especially the old masters and exotic cultures in my context. Immediately I opted for the artistic baccalaureate combined with painting classes in a period where I would be selected by DKV Fresh Art. Later I studied the degree of fine arts at the UPV faculty, where I began to be interested in the new European figuration and the possibility of study abroad.
After my Erasmus experience in Venice I was selected to study my master in Groningen, the Netherlands. There I consider that I found my voice as an artist and began to develop a network of influences more clearly. From that moment I have been living in different places, from Groningen to Geneva, from there to Mallorca and soon to Venice.
